Interactive tools that make transforming your body easier.
Using the wrong tool makes any job harder — more effort, worse result. The Wellbeing Toolbox by the Gay Body Coach gives you the power tools you need to not just look great, but feel great in your body too.
Start free trial 7-day free trial · then £8/month or £64/year (save 33%) · cancel anytime · no app, no faffHow your body looks and feels comes down to four things — how you train, what you eat, how you sleep, and how you manage stress. Every tool in the Toolbox works to optimise one of them.
Built by Matt, aka The Gay Body Coach. That's really him behind the avatar you'll see throughout the toolbox — not a stock mascot.
I started out as a scientist — a medical biochemistry degree, then research work for the Ministry of Defence. My own body, though, was inconsistent: one year training for a triathlon, the next barely moving. So I studied nutrition and training properly, and realised the real shift comes from understanding behaviour, not willpower.
Why the Toolbox existsAfter a decade of coaching, I noticed it's almost never a knowledge problem — most guys already know what to do. The real issue is implementation: actually doing it, consistently. And gay men tend to do exceptionally well with progressive, structured programmes — there's even a name for part of why, the "Best Little Boy in the World" hypothesis: a lot of us channelled early shame into overachieving elsewhere, and that drive doesn't switch off once we're living authentically. Give it a clear structure to work with, and it becomes a real advantage — which is exactly what the Toolbox is built to do.
Every tool currently inside the toolbox, spread across all four pillars. Every tool is interactive and self-contained — it runs in your browser, remembers your progress, and adjusts your next session.

You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for (month or year), then your link stops working. Rejoin anytime and it comes straight back.
14 days on annual payments, no quibble. Monthly you can simply cancel. Email matt@gaybodycoach.com.
For new members, yes — these are introductory prices while the Toolbox is young, and they'll rise as more tools are added. But the rate you join on is locked for as long as you stay a member. No price hikes, ever. It pays to get in early.
Go to the access page, enter the email you joined with, and your link is re-sent instantly.
Membership is the self-serve Toolbox — every tool he's built, available any time, no waiting on a reply. It's not 1:1 coaching. If you want that, get in touch separately.
Yes. The health screening tools (testosterone, prediabetes, and similar) calculate your result entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to or stored on our servers. Progress-tracking tools (workouts, sleep, gratitude and so on) do save your data so features like streaks and history work, but it's tied to your membership only and is never shared or sold.
You can — but a video can't take your last session's numbers and tell you what to do today. These tools are interactive: they respond to your progress. That's the whole point.
Each tool lists what it needs — most need minimal or none. The rowing programme assumes access to an erg; the weights programme assumes access to weights.
